Empowering Girls:
Independence through Hygiene

Rotary Club of Morgan Hill and Rotary District 5170 are #EmpoweringGirls to complete their education by providing feminine hygiene products to high schoolers in India.

In countries where feminine supplies are unattainable, young girls are held back from attending school during their cycle. This further disadvantages them socially and economically. Sanitary napkins empower these young girls by providing freedom to pursue their education and careers, which elevates their place in society.

Just $12 will help one girl stay in school and complete her education.

Stewards of Galvan Park

Rotary Club of Morgan Hill (RCMH) adopted Galvan Park because it is in an underserved area of our community and was one of our first City-owned community parks. The RCMH was chartered in 1955.  Galvan Park was acquired by the City of Morgan Hill from The American Legion in 1962. Galvan Park has a long connection to the Rotary Club of Morgan Hill. Previously, the Club built a handball court, and improved the baseball diamond.  The RCMH also held its first Harvey Barrett Annual Free Senior Dinner for Morgan Hill seniors in 1987, at the Friendly Inn at Galvan Park, where the Boys and Girls Club is now located.

Morgan Hill Safe Exchange Zone

The Rotary Club of Morgan Hill (RCMH) is proud to partner with Morgan Hill Police Department to provide our community with a Safe Exchange Zone.

The Safe Exchange Zone consists of specific spaces in the MHPD public parking lot for community members to conduct private party transactions and safe child custody exchanges. The MHPD parking lot has been used for years, but now with dedicated and labeled spots and signage, the MHPD encourages online sellers and buyers to utilize the new Safe Exchange Zone.
